My two new albums Silence & Islands of the North are now available on Bandcamp! They can be downloaded in a variety of high quality formats including MP3, FLAC, WAV and more - and by purchasing from Bandcamp you're directly supporting musicians, which is awesome!

Silence is the sister album to my recent release Under the World, and combines evocative vocals, the rich sound of a grand piano, and orchestral violin textures.  Featuring 7 original songs, and an interpretation of the traditional folk song Black is the Colour, it was written between Scotland and Australia, navigating a journey out of creative silence and across the world - exploring endings and beginnings, loss and change…

Written for solo piano, Islands of the North is a work that began life as a silent film score. The music is strongly influenced by my travels to the northern islands of Scotland and the Faroe Islands, and my experience of living in the Outer Hebrides; places where the sea and the weather are ever-present, powerful forces.

Both albums were recorded in the Outer Hebrides at Black Bay Studio, one of Europe's most remote recording studios.
